The Academy of Design, now rebranded as the Faculty of Design, is an independent higher education institution offering BA and MA programmes in Design. As their in-house designer delivered print, digital, editorial and event/exhibition design projects from concept to completion.

Show Me Your Dream

“Show Me Your Dream” was the chosen theme for an international competition, exhibition and the closing event of the Month of Design at the Slovene Ethnographic Museum. The closing event was organised by the Academy of Design.

The design’s visual language evokes the whimsical and surreal essence of dreams, creating a dynamic spatial experience. Bold, contrasting black and grey stripes create an optical illusion, suggesting a distortion of reality, similar to dream boundaries. This draws viewers into an immersive environment, sparking curiosity and engagement.

The overall composition reflects themes of movement and transition, mirroring the dream journey—shifting seamlessly from scene to scene. Linear patterns subtly guide the viewer’s gaze, reinforcing the narrative of exploration and discovery central to the “Show Me Your Dream” theme.
