Refinitiv was a newly formed company, created when Thomson Reuters sold its Financial & Risk division. It became an American-British global provider of financial market data and infrastructure. In 2022, LSEG announced its acquisition. At the end of August 2023, the Refinitiv brand was retired in favour of the LSEG brand. In 2024, Refinitiv changed to LSEG Data & Analytics.
As their Senior Designer/Art Director, played a central role in executing initiatives aligned with the company’s rebranding strategy. Developed creative concepts for brand-led visual storytelling across print and digital channels. Collaborated closely with design and cross-functional teams, articulating design direction, creative vision and rationale to stakeholders and senior leadership. Ensured high-quality execution while also managing straightforward BAU job briefings.
Data Insight Team (DIT)
The Data Insight Team is a cross-functional team in Marketing & Communications, squarely focused on inserting Refinitiv’s brand into world events and conversations by showcasing their data, experts and insights. They do this across owned, earned and paid channels to maximise brand relevance, awareness and affinity.
Developed a visual system into an own-able set of guidelines that is bold and impactful. It aids storytelling across Refinitiv digital channels and speaks to the data visualisation roots. The creative combined a general look and feel, new logo lockups design for DIT shows and graphics designed for Video production team.
